Real Estate Veteran Scott Lanni Joins The Koll Company as Principal

Veteran real estate executive Scott Lanni, formerly with the Irvine Company and Lyon Communities, has joined The Koll Company as a Principal, company officials announced today.
Lanni will work with Managing Principal Gerald Yahr and Principal Scott Meserve to continue to grow and enhance the company’s portfolio of office, and industrial real estate in the western United States.

Lanni’s areas of expertise include sourcing equity and debt for joint-venture transactions, acquisitions, development, asset management and dispositions. “Scott has tremendous experience, expertise and relationships that will assist us as we continue to grow,” Yahr said.
Lanni previously led the Investment Management Group for Newport-Beach based Lyon Communities where he sourced and managed more than $1 billion in equity and debt funding for the company’s investment activities.
From 2004-2010, Lanni led acquisition and investment efforts for the Irvine Company, which added 10 million square feet of office and 1,200 apartments during his tenure.
Lanni holds an MBA and an undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
