2929 Imperial, a two story 121,143 square foot Class B multi-tenant office building, was a value-add acquisition by The Koll Company in June 2012. The property, located in Brea, California at 2929 East Imperial Highway approximately 1.4 miles east of the 57 freeway was 50% occupied at the time of acquisition. 2929 Imperial was built in 1985 and renovated in 2004. Upon acquisition, Koll embarked upon a turnaround strategy which included a renovation of the common areas, new landscaping and project signage simultaneous with a focused marketing effort. Within less than a year the renovations were complete and the building was 100% leased. The property was then sold as a fully stabilized asset in June 2014, 12 months ahead of business plan.
